Answer: Yes, you can wear multifocal contact lenses. Multifocal contacts were designed for those who have presbyopia.

Question: Can I wear contact lenses, even though I have both astigmatism and presbyopia?
Answer: Yes, but you will either have to wear one contact lens for distance vision on one eye and another contact for near on the other eye, or Rigid Gas Permeable (Hard) contacts.

Question: Can I wear contact lenses during sleeping, showering or swimming?

Answer: No, due to much higher odds of getting an eye infection.

In some cases, your eye doctor will need to dilate your eyes to get a better view.
Examples include, but are not limited to, diabetics, patients with either high blood pressure or cholesterol, people who see flashes of lights.
When going to the eye doctor to get your eyes dilated, bring someone to drive you back, as well as a pair of sunglasses.
